We are now well into the community football season, everyone at Canberra Olympic Football Club is pleased with the positive start to our first year delivering community matches. While there have naturally been plenty of lessons learned along the way, we remain committed to doing everything we can to ensure each match day runs as smoothly as possible for players, families, volunteers, and supporters.
We appreciate the patience, support, and enthusiasm shown by our community as we continue to grow and improve each week.
Parking
A reminder to all parents and visitors to be mindful of parking on match days, with parking inspectors actively monitoring the area. Please avoid parking on nature strips or in private car parks, as this can cause inconvenience for local residents and may result in fines. There is additional parking available at Harrison School, which we encourage families to use where possible. Most importantly, consider leaving home a few minutes earlier to allow enough time to find suitable parking and help ensure a smooth start to the day for everyone.
Dogs at the Ground
Please remember that dogs are not allowed on football fields in Canberra while junior games or training are taking place. Under the ACT’s Domestic Animals Act, dogs are prohibited, “on a field or playing area where formal sport is being played.” 👀
As much as we love dogs, can you please avoid bringing them to the fields — thanks!

It is best to assume your game or training is ON unless otherwise notified. Please check our Canberra Olympic Facebook page, but also keep an eye on your team communication (from coach/manager) — this may be via apps such as Heja, WhatsApp or Stack team App.
