The National Premier Leagues (NPL) in Canberra are run locally by Capital Football and represent the highest level of football across the ACT and surrounding region— spanning men’s and women’s competitions, as well as boys’ and girls’ pathways.
The NPL is a structured, high-performance environment where clubs like Canberra Olympic are expected to operate a full program. That includes First Grade and U23 squads in the men’s competition, First Grade and Reserve Grade teams in the women’s competition, and a range of age-group teams for both boys and girls.
Each week, NPL football is a test against the strongest local opposition, demanding consistency, depth, and ongoing development across the season. For those who earn it, the campaign builds toward finals football, the chance to reach a Grand Final, and the ultimate goal: a championship.
